Forex (FOReign EXchange market) is the international currency market where money is being sold and bought, for individuals that want to speculate on the exchange rate between two currencies.

FOREX market is open 24 hours a day (Monday through Friday) (GFI is open as from 9.00am till 16.30pm).

Currencies are quoted in pairs, the one listed on the left being the currency used as reference, the one on the right being the opposite currency. Our site shows the "cross" currencies with the Euro as the reference currency.

For example, the rate in dollar is the exchange rate in euro/dollar or buying and selling of Euro against dollar or the amount of dollars in a Euro.
